This was an easy day -- the weekdays are generally easier than the weekends, because, oddly, I'm much more social on the weekdays than I am the weekends.
Monday I decided that I was going to work on the treadmill when I got home, and I left work a bit late, so by the time I got home and on the treadmill it was 7:30. I usually watch TV while on the treadmill, but this time I didn't, and I got mesmerized by the shadow-me. The light for the room was behind me, and I was watching myself walk on the treadmill with this odd distortion via the shadow. I got to the point where I was actually relaxing while walking, sort of slipping into a not-quite-meditation state, which was really really cool.
Then I went over to Rav's again and failed miserably at getting her drive to install again, sigh. I did get to see Wil Wheaton on the weakest link, though, since Rav had it on and Wil was staring at me.
Well, I didn't watch TV at home; I went out as usual to Beer Tuesday, and it's at a sports bar, so the games were on everywhere, and I did end up watching the Illini game on the TV, but I think that counts, because I wouldn't have been at home doing anything productive anyway.
So what did I do on Wednesday when the ban was lifted? I watched 3 hours of TV that night and didn't do anything -- of course two hours of that were fluffy crappy tv, and that show is now going off of my season pass, because I realize I don't need to spend an hour a week watching that.
So, I guess it has had it's uses, and I've proven to myself that I can do this.
