I have decided to go to my 10 year high school reunion; after calling Alison and Sarah and finding out that they were definitely going, that helped too. We're all going to meet at Sarah's in about an hour, which means I need to blow dry my hair and get going.
I did go see Glass House and The Others last night with the boys, Raven and the K's. it was nice to get away from it all, though as I mentioned to R, everything felt so surreal, that we were at the movies while all this was going on. I even felt a little guilty.
Glass House was okay, in a plot-holes-so-huge-you-could-drive-a-tru
The Others, however, was wonderful, I recommend seeing it. It's not gory, but it's scary in a Sixth Sense sort of way. I had forewarned R that I would likely be grabbing his arm during the movie if it was anything like they were expecting, and at one point, I jumped and hung on to him, and was surprised to find him clinging on to me. A second later, he asked "did you see anything?" I didn't, because I'd closed my eyes and hid my face on his arm, so I said "no," to which he replied "Me either!" It was just that good.
I am in the middle of a lot of lack of motivation. I need to do laundry and clean the cat boxes and pay bills this weekend, but haven't. I hopefully will find time between church and the small group tomorrow, here's hoping.
I did, however, get to babble at the lovely spooble, mostly about CB until he decided driving on the interstate and not crashing into anything was a wee bit more important than a conversation with me.
And now, I am off to the reunion.
