I took it home, and plugged it into the TV and let it do it's guided setup thing as I rushed around doing last minute cleaning before people came over for the BBQ at my house.
Cleaning included my stealth operation to wipe out a colony of bees deciding to make their home underneath the grill my mother gave me; and then watch the effects of my bee genocide. But, after that was done, Raven, J, P and MK came over, and we grilled meat.
It's very difficult to be a grill master and a host at the same time; unfortunately, the meat suffered slightly.
We hung out outside, and Raven pulled out her new card games; we made a valiant attempt to play outside, but the tiki torches did not give enough illumination, and the mosquitos were being pesky, so we went inside.
So, it was 10:15 PM when everyone went home, and I had a chance to check the status of my TiVo. I flipped the switch, to start recording my shows, and what do I see?
The lower half of the screen continually fuzzes.
This means I need to repeat the dance of exchanging the TiVo when I get home tonight. The bright side, is that a friend of mine had the exact same thing happen, and they should ship as soon as I have a tracking number.
