Busy Weekend

I've had a busy, but good weekend :)

Friday, went to play at the boats for about 4 hours, and managed to triple up my buyin at the crazy monkey game during the PLO half when I got put all in with vulnerable nuts (JcTc9h with me having K5hQcQ, my opponent had A9c9) and didn't get sucked out on! That was especially sweet because the guy who doubled me up was the same guy who sucked out on me with T9s when he called a flop bet with the flop being A86 rainbow. Take THAT, Drizz!!

I did get to see LawyerMark after a long break, which was (as always) nice, and I got to talk some tournament hands with Tom Macey (of suckedoutonTVbyRobertBellalandeFame), which is always nice, too. DoubleAs - Mark plays the QJ hand the same way I play the QJ hand for the same reasons. Go figure, since he taught me most of what I know about NL poker. :D

I'm currently watching Matt Matros play in the WCOOP while playing some PLO8 as well as watching the Ind/Bal game and it looks like he might finally make the money, as the stalling has already begun and he's ahead in chips.

and dayyymn, he busts out at 180 on a bluff. Luckily, 180 places pay - it'll be interesting to see what he writes in his journal tomorrow.

And that ends the poker content, move along if that's all you're interested in.

Saturday was a very intense workshop that went all day and I came home absolutely drained and managed to make dinner, nap, watch the US open, and then go back to bed. Good workshop, just exhausting. I might post about that later, non-publicly.

One woman there did grab my email so she could send it on to her nephew, because she thinks we'll be good together; I'm not quite sure what to think about it, but I'm not a believer in coincidences. We'll see what happens.

Sunday I was up early again to get to choir practice, which I realize I really miss, and I'm thoroughly excited to have start up again. After church was the picnic, and I got to chat up Bonnie, who said that if I got another dog, it would be no problem for her to dog-sit both of them when I'm gone, so I may seriously start looking into another pooch really really soon to keep Wrigley company. Like this one!

I managed to run a couple errands and finally found wrinkle relaser at Target - I can't believe how hard it is to find that stuff? It wasn't at Dominick's or Walgreens! I bought a couple bottles just in case, because I am so not an ironing kind of gal, and I don't always get the clothes out of the dryer on time.

Then I tackled the pile of mail that I've been ignoring for a while and has been piling up on my foyer bench. I'm happy to report that said bench is now spic and span, and my recycling bin is overflowing. Wrigley, creature of habit that he is, was none too pleased with the reconfiguration of my living room to process all said stuff.

And now I've flipped on Spiderman 2 while I prepare to clear out MORE old papers and junk, although I'm not really thrilled with La Dunst. Ah well.
