and I still didn't get everything done that I wanted to!

I'm not ready to go back to work! I don't mind the work stuff, I'm just in the middle of about 3 house projects that I want to finish!

On my six days off I:

  • bought: a grill (and assembled it), 4 drawer filing cabinet (and got it home thankew), office chair ($49 for a leather one on sale), a gazillion other little hardward things

  • repaired the stairs on my deck, de mildewed the deck, repaired some of the slats on the deck

  • got the back yard faucet working

  • destroyed the crappy wooden planters on the deck including taking the soil to the garbage

  • weeded the back yard

  • napped lots

  • fertilized the rose bush

  • grocery shopped for the week

  • decluttered half of my basement storage

  • cleaned the house

  • did laundry

  • spent 1.5 hours at my mom's eating lunch and decluttering HER junk room

  • compiled spreadsheets on 2 of my days off because it just had to be done

  • took the dog to the dog park 2 times and walked him like 3 other times

  • watched High Crimes, the season finale of CSI, West Wing, and 3 episodes of CSI: Miami

and I still need to clean, strip and stain the deck, finish decluttering the basement storage, organize the christmas decorations that live in the storage, move the filing cabinet to its final resting place, assemble the leather chair, move the desk downstairs to a better place, bring the TV and Tivo from the exercise room to the basement office, vaccum el office, etc etc.

I need 4 more days off!

  • Tired.

Being in the office at 8:30 am means getting up at 5 because I hate traffic and traffic starts at 6:30. Wah. But I did get more Caribou. YOMS.

  • Making orthodontia better

    + ...I have about 4 hours before I can't eat anything that isn't soft...

  • For Lori.

I hate you pollen. HATE YOU.
