Does anyone know where I might find kosher salt and sea salt without purchasing it on the internet (ie, instant gratification)?

(if you have a good internet source, that could be useful, later)

Thanks!

[update: I found kosher salt at the dominick's, but no sea salt. Snif.]

I found sea salt at the grocery store (Albertson's, do you have that chain out there?)... it's Cannamela brand.

No albertsons! Alas. I found the kosher salt, but no sea salt; I'm going to try whole foods tomorrow!

Kosher salt is normally at every grocery store despite the size of your local Jewish community... just look in the Kosher section.

Thanks! It wasn't actually in the kosher section, so I tried the regular salt section, and voila!

i'd suggest trying your local health food store.

Whole Foods has the fine granulated kind, but if it's fleur de mer you're looking for (grey sea salt, about the same texture as kosher) you'd probably have to try some place like Foodstuffs in Highland Park.
