yawn - Princess — LiveJournal
I'm exhausted. And with no real reason -- except that yet again, I didn't get up when I woke up on my own before the alarm went off. although that's because I thought I got up 1 minute before my alarm, so closing my eyes for another minute would really not have any effect any way or the other.

Yesterday was fun, if rushed right after work. I went to lift weights after work (and got to a late start as usual), and then after getting caught in traffic, I got home and was planning on walking on the treadmill before Rico got to my house to watch Mulan and Roswell.

However, I also had to clean the house since I didn't do any of that this weekend; I usually use the not so packed weekends (comparative to my weekdays) to do some cleaning and laundry and didn't have the time to do that.

But before that I had to call the vet as my cat is not responding to the valium, and is continuing to mark my house, and she's been doing this for way too many years and I'm at my wits end. I have no urge to buy new carpet. So most of the cleaning was spent working on cleaning up after her. sigh.

Then, Rico left on time which is unusual for him which meant I didn't have time to walk on the treadmill, I needed to swiffer the floor and get the dishes done and actually make dinner for myself.

But turns out he was late enough for me to get all that done, and I think the cleaning and running around the house probably was enough exercise to count for the treadmill.

And Mulan was great!! I'm going to have to get that on DVD, I think --- it was funny and cute and the animation was amazing. Roswell was okay, even if I was yelling "BOOOOO!!" at the screen for the last 5 minutes. Tess is just such a wimp.
Now I need to throw clothes in the laundry before I go to work and my doctor's appointment. I'm supposed to get a blood sugar test done, which means I can't eat anything until then, ugh. Although, I goofed and had a calcium chew, hope that doesn't screw anything up.

Activity is activity, and running around doing the cleaning can definitely be equivalent to a good walk.

True, and I think this was one of the cases, considering how much of a sweat I'd worked up doing that :)
