  • I need a new garage door. Wa-hoo. At least I get to get rid of the old wood one and get a nice light aluminum one.

  • I splurged and bought a neat teacup with infuser and some vanilla tea. Yum.
  • I just watched Amélie again tonight. I still loved it muchly, even though I had to crate puppers because he wouldn't settle down

  • The trailer for Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever looks pretty interesting

  • I love taking the first scoop of peanut butter from a "virgin" peanut butter jar. Am I the only one?

  • To jesspark: Why is Margo Greeneworking at GeneDyne (from Mount Dragon)? Smithback mentions this in The Cabinet of Curiosities and it just made me angry that Margo wasn't in this novel.

    • Didn't GeneDyne go boom after Mt. Dragon, anyway? Mmph. At least maybe this means Margo will be back in the next novel with Pendergast, from the way they wrote his reaction to her name.

  • I think I need to go take another bath, using sinnie's bath salts. They seem to help my back.

    • Of course, doing my exercises would probably help it as well, but that's work.

  • I think I may have volunteered myself for a job that will be really annoying but necessary for my group to get anything done.

    • Of course, it might be at the expense of my sanity

    • Assuming I have any to lose.

Current Mood: tired tired

Yeah, I mean honestly. If we all weren't a little crazy, imagine how much it'd affect us to be losing our sanity so often?

I'm curious, how did you end up with a Finnish user name?

My bath salts are magic -- I really wish I would have sent you the *real* theraputic ones, with the tea tree oil; they sorta stink like the medicine, but they make way good things happen to the mind and the body.

Because I lurve you, I'm going to tell you a secret -- find a place that sells *real* essential oils (ebay actually has some good deals) and buy 1/2 oz. tea tree oil. Go to local drug store -- buy one of those big cartons of Epsom salts (that's really what makes magic for the muscles). Come home, dump half of the Epsom salts in a glass bowl, pour all the tea tree oil in and mix mix mix mix mix mix mix. Pour in an airtight container and shake every day for a week.

At bath time, light candles, play some good relaxing music, pour in 1 cup of the epsoms that have the oil, and 1 cup of the regular epsom salts in your hot as you can stand it bath. Get in. Go OOOOHHHHHH. Stay in there for 15 mins or longer. Enjoy.

Tea tree smells very medicinal but it's crazy what it seems to do. No one but me likes it here, but girl, it makes the mojo alrighty. It's also good if you have the occassional blemish -- dab a little bit of the tea tree oil on at bed time, hold your breath all night (it's really not that bad, i'm just joking) and in the morning inflamation and infection are (on some people) dramatically reduced!

I *never* believed in this essential oil mumbo jumbo until we started making soap -- but some of thse are truly amazing medicines.
