rambling - Princess — LiveJournal
I'm tired, and feel like I haven’t had much to say lately. Which isn't true, really. I've had a lot to say; I just don't feel like sitting down and writing everything out, or getting it down on paper/computer. I'd prefer to take a nap instead, so what I've decided is to just spend this evening doing stuff I want to do, which will be reading and sleeping and going to bed early and not doing laundry or fixing the toilet or anything like that. I need to recharge.

Had drinks with my peers today, which was odd, and interesting. The new dynamics of this whole group make my head ache.

I got two letters today! jezaurelle and gucky, I shall reply in the near future. Not tonight, for I am pooped.

Stopped by the library today, and currently in my To Read stack are now: A Dog's Life, by Peter Mayle; White teeth : a novel by Zadie Smith, The third option and Separation of Power both by Vince Flynn; Interpreter of maladies : stories by Jhumpa Lahiri; and Paperboy : confessions of a future engineer by Henry Petroski. There are some others I've put on reserve that I'm still waiting to come in as well, but these will tide me for now. I've even gone ahead and made a new community (easier to post in), so I can keep track of the books I read; hopefully that’ll be easier than any other method.

honeyed is making new icons and not updating her site, tsk tsk
And sinnie has not posted the results to her apostrophe quiz!

And now, I think I'm going to go curl up in bed and read for a while, as I'm fading fast fast fast.

Current Mood: exhausted exhausted

vince flynn

The Vince Flynn books are AWESOME. He has a couple of other books besides the two you listed... they're called, um, let me check... oh yeah, Transfer of Power and Term Limits, both of which come before the two you got (I'm pretty sure). They are sooooooooooooooooo good. Good choices! Enjoy!

Re: vince flynn

Yep, I've already read those. Have you read any Kyle Mills? He's much like Flynn, too. Good reads.
