Misc notes to all my lurvely friends

  • Windows folks, a new version of the ljwin32_sema client is out, and it's pretty cool.

  • sinnie, you and jellybeanzulu need to get together and poop your flush valve funny-ness. He just told me my flush valve was going to end up being my... (wait for it) waterloo. Groan.

  • Two more real live letters went out today. matinee and snidegrrl, keep an eye on your mailboxes!

  • I really want to play network settlers of catan, but no one is around to humor me, though jellybeanzulu and zen_raven do a good job most days.

  • I would just like you all to view today's to-do list, and be thoroughly impressed. Laundry's in progress, too, so hah.

  • I hate starting things with a blank page. It frustrates me. The presentation I had to create today drove me nuts, because I had to start from scratch -- no template no noting. Give me something to edit, and I ca n turn crap into goodness, but it's much harder to start with a clean page. this goes for those delicate emails, too.

  • Dog training without the dog went well; the trainer lady is so nice, which pleases me.

    • Of course, I spent too much money on dog food, nature's miracle, a portable water thingy, a bags on board dealie, and another tie out chain that's now a bit too long instead of too short.

    • But, I also gave in and got the dog two specially-treated-to-not-splinter real bones; one filled with peanut butter flavor, and one unfilled.

    • He seems to be happy with it, as he's still chew chew chewing.

  • For those of you dog folks out there, my dad sent me this link on why dogs are smarter than you might think. Pretty interesting.

  • I finished Reliquary, last night, and I think I will be trite and cheesy and read the third volume of the Princess Diaries next, since I just picked it up from the crackhouselibrary.

    • Oh, and jessparkJess, I kept wishing Pendergast and Margo Green would get together. Does she ever reappear in any of the rest of the books? I know you've said Pendergast does...

  • One last thing: can the Cubs embarrass me any more?

    • At least Kyle Farnsworth still has the hottest boo-tay in the game
