Friday Five (http://www.fridayfive.org)

1. Do you live in a house, an apartment or a condo? I live in an absolutely fab townhouse, complete with two balconies and a back deck. With a grill. If I wasn't me, I'd envy me. I mean, I don't have to take care of my lawn or shovel snow -- can you beat that?

2. Do you rent or own? I own. I love owning: there's no more awesome feeling in the world than wandering around your townhouse and thinking, "Wow. This is ALL MINE! I can now proceed on my plan of conquering the world!" followed immediately by, "As soon as I get out of this gi-normous debt, and all.

3. Does anyone else live with you? The two kitty cats: Mischief (aka "Misty"), my basement cat, and Patches (aka "dammit get off me you hairy shedding beastie!"), my hyper-thyroidal living room cat.

4. How many times have you moved in your life? Not counting the 4 dorm room moves while in college: seven. I've only moved twice since I've returned to Chicago-land, though.

5. What are your plans for this weekend? Well, I just got back from seeing The Minority Report, which was most excellent and not just because Tom Cruise was hot -- which I think has more to do with his short hair. Tomorrow, I am claiming a papasan chair for the Library from Kat's friends and probably going to a service at night. Sunday Mom and I have coffee hour, and then I've got a lunch thing. Sprinkled around in the free time will be doing dishes, writing zarobi, and picture futzing. Hopefully, I'll also finish the Cryptonomicon, as well, but I'm not holding out much hope for that last one.

Bookcrossing...

I am thinking about perhaps letting a book off into the wild. But I think I'm too attached to my books; if this had gotten to me a year ago, when I was pruning my collection, it wouldn't be so hard to decide which one to set free.
