Valley of the Dolls
Reading Valley of the Dolls is like watching a train wreck. Depressing, yet you can't seem to turn away.

You think that's bad? Try Beyond the Valley of the Dolls sometime if you want depressing AND depraved AND a bad movie all at the same time.

See this entry.

Mm..

While I might watch the movie based on Valley of the Dolls, based on the ending of the book, I can't possibly see a reason to ever watch anything that's a sequel to it...

Re: Mm..

Oh but it's not a sequel. Think "beyond" as in "it goes up to eleven" not as in "what happens after."

I would highly recommend picking it up from the library first, to see if you reeeeally want to own it.
