  • I feel a bit blocked lately on writing all the jumbled kernel-thoughts running helter skelter through my air-popper of a brain lately. Maybe I'll try writing some later, on paper, even.

  • Witchblade tonight, and, I think, Chinese.

  • Called my dad, and he liked his one page book, and is trying to find a good way to frame it.

  • Neal Stephenson uses way too many adjectives and flowery type description in his book, while trying to show off his geek prowess.

  • If you want a worst case scenario postcard, email me your address, and I'll send one to you in the next week or so.

The Matt Damon Identity was excellent, though only loosely based on the book; by that I mean they must have waved the book over the top of the script a couple times. That doesn't detract from the movie -- I want to see it again. But that's mostly because I found Matt Damon makes an awesome action hero, and his facial expressions were dead on. The action sequences were well-choreographed, too.

Which prompted a discussion with [info]zen_raven: I believe that Matt Damon is a much better, more versatile actor than Ben Affleck, yet Ben seems to have much more star power. I wonder why that is, or if this is a common opinion? Before [info]traceracer kills me, I'll stipulate that I don't think Ben is a bad actor, just that Matt is more skilled.

Why do some people just never get the fact that they're Just Not Funny? Of course, that means that I hope I'm not one of those people, unbeknownst to me, too.

[info]swoobysnacks, I miss you! Finish WarIII already, will ya?

Watched Witchblade tonight, and I'm not quite sure what my reaction is. The first hour did not take the comparison to last season very well, but by the end of the second hour, I definitely wanted more. I think it's odd that you-know-who is dead; it was more than a little unexpected, I'll admit.
